ABOUT FLYWHEEL AEROSPACE

Engineering the next generation of robotics talent

We build robotics platforms that bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world deployment. Based in New Delhi, serving institutions and startups across India.

OUR MISSION

Making advanced robotics accessible to every learner and builder

Flywheel Aerospace designs and manufactures modular robotics platforms that bridge the gap between academic learning and industry deployment. Our systems are used by universities, research labs, and startups across India for hands-on experimentation in embedded systems, autonomous navigation, computer vision, and space technology.

Founded with the belief that practical engineering education should be hardware-first, not textbook-first. Every product we build is designed to take learners from theory to real-world application — from their first blinking LED to autonomous navigation systems and satellite subsystems.

OUR VISION

A future where every student can build real robots, not just read about them

Hardware-first learning
We believe the best way to learn engineering is by building real things. Every course and kit puts hardware in your hands from day one.
Accessible to all
From ₹2,499 starter kits to ₹50,000 mastery courses. We design price points and difficulty levels for every stage of the journey.
Industry-ready output
Our platforms aren’t toys. They use real protocols (ROS, RTOS, I2C, SPI), real components, and real engineering practices used in industry.
OUR JOURNEY

Abbas Akram
Founder & CEO

20-year-old CS undergraduate and founder of Flywheel Aerospace, building at the intersection of robotics, AI, and space technology. Started with a simple goal: give every engineering student access to real hardware, not just textbooks.

Under his leadership, Flywheel has shipped 12 hardware products, trained 1500+ students across 50+ institutions, and built partnerships with IIT Delhi and DRDO. Now expanding into B2B engineering services and GCC markets.

Also runs Flywheel Space Labs (pre-seed aerospace startup building Orbital Transfer Vehicles) and works as a freelance full-stack developer and AI engineer with international clients.

Our team also includes:
A rotating team of engineering interns and collaborators working on hardware design, embedded systems, content development, and workshop delivery. The lab photo above shows our team in action during a build session.
